Finished Work: Student Reading Analysis Team

The Student Reading Analysis Team worked to promote reading among the Dalewood Middle Students and assist Principal Rodney Johnson in tracking student achievement and improvements by:
  • Creating a simple computer application that helps Principal Rodney Johnson individually track student’s reading levels.
  • Using the same computer application to provide an avenue to share student achievement and improvement with the school faculty, administration, and others.
  • Creating a competition for the students in which reading is encouraged and rewarded.
  • Creating posters that share Dalewood’s faculty reading inspirations with their students and create an environment of role models.
We’ve included a few photos of mockups and proposed projects from 24 hours of creative work. Does your local business have resources to plug into this team somehow? We would like the efforts of CreateAthon to continue by including even more community partners and supporters.
